Board Meeting
Austin County Children's Protec- I
tive Services board met in regular
session in the basement meeting room
of the courthouse Monday, October
15. In the absence of the president,
supervisor Linda Fitzwater presided.
There are eight children in the
conservatorship of Austin County at
this time.
There were eleven new referrals in
Austin county for the month of Sep-
tember.
There was further discussion on
the proposed outreach program. In-
formational material is being passed
around among members. Plans were
developed for the Thanksgiving and
Christmas programs for the turkeys
and hams to be presented to the foster
families.
Plans were made to provide some
Christmas cheer for the children in
conservatorship.
Myrtle Hatton read her letter of
resignation from the board because
of her health and at the same time ac-
cepted honorary membership prom-
ising to be present as often as she is
able. Her resignation was accepted.

nestine Seals, Joyce Haugen, Lyn
Chrystal, Rebecca Marek, honorary
member Myrtle Hatton of Wallis and
F. 0. Tyler.
Visiton were Genie Conaty of

county commissioner, precinct three,
and staff member Fitzwater.
