changed to five points up. Seiling prea-
surr did not persist apparently because
of uncertainty over t.o* tt U r«u report*

business prices were 23 to 43 points over
Saturday's finals December standing at
20.65.
Both the ginning report showing 2.343-
023 bales turned out to September 25 and
the condition of 59.1 ’per cent of normal
on th' same date were constru'd as against
values especially heavy soiling following
the indicated crop of 12.123.000 bales bo-
rausc of the fact that a year ago the crop
indication was only 10695.000. Late in
th« morning. December was trading at
19.65 and t he list showed net declines of
50 to 75 points.

demand from realizing shorts increased
and In addition a demand for long ac-
count sprang up. coming from traders who
