this doesn’t include everyone.
So we work harder to keep our
electric service dependable, plentiful
and low in price.
That's the best way we think, to
keep most everybody happy with
our service — and put smiles on the
faces of those who say they aren’t.

A real effort to serve you well is
at the hub of everything we do at

we try to find out what our customers

We find that by far the great ma-

LETTER OF LAUGHTER
Dear Heloise:
My small Heloise mats are
so handy and timesaving
On the back of one of them
I sewed several thicknesses
of nylon net, and I "dance''
Maybe we can't please all the people
all the time ...but we keep trying!

Mrs. R. W. G.
I sure did! And if you ever
try it, you will love it.
This glorious stuff can be
bought by the gallon for prac-'
tically nothing at most filling
stations. (You have to take
your own container though)
Wet an old wash rag with
warm water, wring it out
good, then pour a little kero-
sene on it, and just wipe
away . . .
That's all there is to it.
You can polish it with a dry
cloth afterwards, but I find
this quite unnecessary
This even helps prevent
water spots.
on that to scrub my floors.
It’s terrific!

Dear Heloise:
When mending a glove,
put your finger in a thimble,
then into the finger of the
glove.
it will be much easier to
mend the glove, plus the fact
that you will have no pricked
fingers.

Dear Heloise:
Please allow a man to pass
along an idea for your scrap-
book.
When fixing up a thermos
bottle of coffee for lunches,
fishing, or just so you won't
have to reheat coffee during
the morning when you want
another little slug—don't get
upset by trying to put sugar
into the little hole on top of
the bottle with a regular tea
spoon, funnel or what have
you.
Just take the lid of the cof-
fee pot off, remove the "work-
ing parts", leaving nothing
but the pot itself, and add
sugar to the hot coffee while
it's still in the pot. Stir and
pour into bottle.
Clayton Wise

.And how wise you are, Mr
Wise! No more spills or hav-
ing the sugar stick to the
mouth of the bottle so the
stopper is hard to put in

Dear Heloise:
Take this hint from a gal
who inspects the type cloth
that these stretch pants are
made from.
The best way to get the
“pills” or knots out of them
is to turn them wrong side
out, and pull the knots
THROUGH to the .wrong side
of the material—then leave
the knots alone
I do not recommend that
women cut these knots off, or
shave them, because they
might find little holes in the
material' where they cut the
knots away.
