Sheriff continues to improve
Kendall County Sheriff Lee
D’Spain was looking good at the
Kendall County Commissioner's
Court meeting Monday. He con-
tinues to improve following recent
heart by-pass surgery.
The sheriff reports that he is
walking regularly and that he has
cut the walk from his house to
LaHacienda from 45 minutes to 31
minutes.
Bowman receives service award
Boerne City Administrator Ron
Bowman was recognized by the
Association of Wholesale
Customers (AWC) with the 1994
Outstanding Service Award to rec-
ognize his exceptional leadership
and public service.
Criteria for the AWC award
requires that nominees must have
made substantial contribution to
the electric industry and their utili-
ty and they must have made a
