chili cooks for the event and 20 bean
cooks in the jackpot bean cookoff.
“Everyone enjoyed the Friday
night cook’s party and our entry in
the Christmas; parade won the prize
for ‘Best Music.’”
From profits, $700 was given to
the Kendall County Literacy
Council. “The Boerne merchants
were very generous with their dona-
tions to our raffle,” said Stateczny,
“and we are very thankful.”
