Williams is currently working
on a project to improve facilities
on campus for handicapped
students. He said in many
universities the handicapped get
to register first so they have a
choice as to location of their
classes. He is trying to get the
same arrangement on this campus.
"I am working on a far ranging
plan to have railings installed,
sidewalk curbs edged off for
wheel chair use and anything else
we can do to help the
handicapped student,” Williams
said.
Williams said he is looking
forward to working with Porfirio
Montes. "He’s implemented many
fine plans by himself. I’m hoping
to make things better by working
with him,” Williams said.

said the U.T. student body has
expressed its desire for change

student activities by electing him.
"My administration of the
student activities funds will be
done in a fashion that will benefit
the students. 1 don’t intend to
capitalize off of the students or
misuse their money,” Paz said.
Paz hopes to initiate a wider
variety of activities on campus
which he hopes will go toward
developing the process of
self-acculturation.
