an automobile operated by L. E. Baker

RAIN AND COLD

Not Passible to Come on First Trip. But
May Be Here After November 20.

tonio during bis western trip as had
been expected. but probably will in-
rludo this city in an itinrrary which
Is planned for a second tour during biz
stay in this country according ta a
telegram from Washington received by
the San Antonio chamber of commerce
late Sunday. F. B. Yandell general
manager of the -hamber. bad axptwem
the belief Saturday night that follow-
ing on invitation extended to the French
general through the state department
by Senator Morris Sheppard his visit
to San Antonio was almost a certainty.
"General Penhing says that Marshal
Foch is unable to accept San Antonio's
invitation on his first trip but may bo
able to visit there on aoeeoiul trip aft-
er November 20" the Washington tele-
gram said. The message added that the
attention of Allen T. Roberts chairman

Troops Change Station.
The Twelfth Cavalry from Del Rid
arrived at Fort Brown. Brownsville.
Monday morning for station relieving
the Fourth Cavalry which will start
on the march to Fort Sam Houston
Tuesday. This trip will last about
three weeks. Headquarters of the
Fourth regiment will be established at
Laredo.
