Troop 226 scouts earn honors, awards

Thirty scouts from Troop
226 and 20 adults traveled to
Camp Cherokee near Athens
March 10-12. The theme of
the camp-out was “Fishing,”
and scouts and adults caught
many fish. The Venture patrol
took a five-mile hike in addi-
tion to fishing. The troop also
toured the Texas Fresh
Waters Fisheries Center.
