Pet of the Week
FROM STAFF REPORTS
Can’t keep the homeless kit-
tens that showed up on your
doorstep or at your local animal
shelter? Petland may be able to
help.
Petland of Frisco is doing its
part to help find homes for
healthy, homeless kittens, cats,
puppies and dogs. In fact, compa-

“The homeless pets we offer to
our customers must be healthy
and well-socialized, ensuring they
will make good pets for adopting
families,” Patel said.
Once accepted, Adopt-A-Pets
at Petland are given their vaccina-
tions. In most cases, they also are
micro-chipped for identification.
Petland stores offer different
spaying and neutering options to
help ensure the adoptable pets are
not adding to local pet overpopu-
lation concerns. Adopt-A-Pets
generally are offered to customers
at a modest adoption fee, enough
to cover associated shelter or res-
cue group charges, veterinary
care and staff labor.
Those interested can contact
the local Petland store. Shelter
administrators, pet rescue repre-
sentatives or any individual with
knowledge of a litter of healthy

This time I really mean it. I’ve done
my partying. I’m so over that now /
time I wasn’t in the right mind-set '
But now, I’m a different person. This time,
no problem.
Just one thing. I need a little something
to take the edge off. After that, I am clean.
You know me, I can quit anytime I want. I mean
it - once I get past today, I am a new man.
