Southbound truck shipments into Mexico were down 5.6 percent in percent. Laredo, with 50.5 percent of all southbound shipments in

Northbound truck shipments into Texas decreased 7.3 percent from
July's shipments. Progreso decreased 17.5 percent, Laredo de-
clined 10.8 percent, Roma fell 9.1 percent, Brownsville was down
3.5 percent and Del Rio slid 1.5 percent. However, Rio Grande
increased 11.9 percent, Pharr rose 0.9 percent, Eagle Pass gained
0.5 percent, and Falcon was up 100.0 percent. YTD northboundities and compiled by Texas A&M International University, Texas Center
truck shipments were up 12.1 percent. Laredo, accounting for 61.4
percent of all northbound truck traffic in August had a 16.7 percent
increase YTD. Pharr, with 15.3 percent of shipments, experienced
a 9.3 percent increase YTD. Brownsville, with 12.6 percent of all
