Passenger Arrivals % Change YTD 98-99June air passengers arriving in Texas border cities were up 3.7
percent from May's figures. McAllen increased 5.4 percent,
Brownsville gained 4.4 percent, El Paso rose 4.0percent, Harlingen
jumped 2.1 percent, and Laredo was up 1.0 percent. YTD air
passenger arrivals were up 3.9 percent. El Paso, with 66.2 percent
of all passengers arriving in June, was up 3.0 percent YTD.
Harlingen accounting for 17.3 percent of all arrivals in June rose
3.2 percent. McAllen, with 11.4 percent of all arrivals, was up 8.6
percent. Laredo increased 23.3 percent while Brownsville was
down 9.0 percent YTD.0

were up 2.8 percent from May's figures. Laredo increased 9.0
percent, Brownsville rose 6.2 percent, El Paso gained 3.4 and
Harlingen jumped 1.4 percent. McAllen fell 0.9 percent. YTD, air
passenger departures were up 3.2 percent from a year ago. El Paso,
with 66.0 percent of all passengers departing in June, was up 3.4
percent YTD. Harlingen, with 17.3 percent of all passengers
departing, was up 1.0 percent. McAllen, with a 11.3 percent of all
departing passengers, increased 3.8 percent YTD. Laredo rose 20.2
percent while Brownsville was down 6.9 percent YTD.0A
