MPF = Merchandise Processing FeeTotal U.S. Customs revenues, for June, for the former District of
Laredo, increased 37.9 percent from May's figures. Progreso was
up 113.5 percent, McAllen-Hidalgo increased 49.4 percent, Eagle
Pass rose 41.8 percent, Laredo gained 38.8 percent, Del Rio
increased 24.4 percent, and Brownsville grew 15.0 percent. Rio
Grande fell 3.9 percent. YTD revenue figures were down 0.5percent compared to May 1998. Laredo, accounting for 63.8
percent of the former district's revenue in June was up 2.5 percent
YTD. McAllen-Hidalgo, with 14.0 percent of total revenues, was
down 20.5 percent YTD. Eagle Pass, accounting for 11.8 percent
of all revenues, was up 25.5 percent YTD. Brownsville, with 8.6
