Southbound rail shipments into Mexico increased 2.8 percent in 5.2-
September. Brownsville was up 15.9 percent and Laredo increased
3.5 percent. However, Eagle Pass dipped 9.9 percent. YTD, total
southbound rail shipments into Mexico from Texas were down 1. 1
percent. Laredo, which accounts for 65.3 percent of all southbound 9 -
rail shipments in September was down 3.6 percent. Eagle Pass,
accounting for 17.3 percent of all southbound rail shipments,-36
increased 5.2 percent. Brownsville, with 17.4 percent of all south-
