“She's all patch-work with painted hair and polka-dot stockings" ex-
plained Nancy.
Ttoot I Toot! went the Choo-Choo
Express.
And away it rattled leaving Game
Town far behind.
Nancy and Nick looked out of the
window nnd the fences and trees fly-
ing by and thought they had never
had such a nice ride.
“What is the next stop?" Nick
asked when Mister Punch the con-
ductor. catne along.
“Doll Town." said Mister Punch.
“Oh. good!" cried Nancy. “I’m
just sure wc shall find Kuby Joan
my lost rag doll there!”
“I hope you will." said Mister
Punch kindly. "I’ll tell Mister
Toots the engineer to wait «s long
as be can so you will have time to
look."
Pretty soon the train stopped and
the Twins got off.
A policeman doll stood on the plat-
form of the station so they went up
and asked him if he had seen Ruby
Joan.

As Jock hung on to Flighty's heels he noticed that their Flying Horse
had disappeared. “What will we do now?" ashed .lack. “1 can’t hang here
very long.” "You won't have to” replied Flighty. And with that Jack
felt himaelf slowly settling down toward the ground.
The weight of both Jack and Flighty was too much for the magic
■word and it bent until they were just a few feet from the ground. “Now
we'll have to drop!” said Flighty. "You jump sideways when I let go."
And Flighty let go and he nnd Jack landed safe and sound on the ground
Jack was startled by a loud barking looking back he saw Flip just
finishing on the meal that Flighty had prepared for him when they started
bn the Flying Horse trip. Then Jack noticed that Flighty had disappeared.
His adventure was over duck Daw'a next adventure is with The Bad Giant
THURSDAY.

o ' doll —or anybody.
I Ruby Joan was not in Doll Town
d iit was plain so the Twins ran back
to the station and got on the Choo-
:• Choo Express.
p “Toot! Toot!” went the engineer.
y Away went the little train.
