Wednesday last on General Young's
land between First and Second missions
collecting raesqulte timber for lumber
for the New Orleans exposition reports
a singular piece of nudaolty perpetrated
by a Mexican. While six or eight men
were in the pasture working the wire
fence was cut and an attempt was made
to steal a very fine mare nnd colt that
were In the pasture. The fenoe runs
nlong the road nnd where It was cut Is
within hailing distance or any part of
the lnclosure.

any theatre or other place of amusement

language loud hallooing cursing or
swearing within such theatre or placo
of amusement; but the tame shall be
conducted In n peaceable and orderly
manner so that no Inhabitant of tho
neighborhood mar bo disturbed thereby.
Hlc. 2. It shall be unlawful for any
person linn or corporation to establish
run operate or control or be roncerncu
In establishing running operating or
controlling any Indecent obscene or
vulgar theatre or other like place of
amusement.
Sr.c. 3. It shall bo unlawful for any
proprietor or agenf actor or actress In
tho employment or under the control or
direction of such proprietor running
operating and controlling any theatre
variety show or like place of amuse-
ment to act In any Indecent vulgar or
obscene manner or to dress himself or
herself In any obsceno vulgar or inde-
cent style or to sing any vulgnr ob-
scene or Indecent song or to act or to
take part In any obscene vulgar or Inde-
cent play amusement entertainment or
dance.
Six;. 4. Any person found guilty of a
violation of any of tho provisions of this
ordinance shall upon conviction before
the liecorder bo lined In any sum not
less than twenty-live nnd not exceeding
two hundred dollar.
