a personal friend of ours for sev-
eral years, is a candidate for
Lieutenant Governor of Texas.
We know him to be a gentleman
of sterling qualities—hondest, fair
and square in all his dealings; a
scholar and one of nature’s noble-
man. The people of Texas will
be fortunate in electing him lieu-
tenant governor, for there is no
question but that he will deal out
even-handed justice to his fellow-
man.

more than one case of rheuma-
tism, in ten requires any internal

needed is a free application of
Chamberlain’s Liniment and
massaging the parts at each ap-
plication. Try it and see how
quickly it will relieve the pain
and soreness. Sold by all deal-

Has That Been Your Experience Taking
Calomel for Constipation? Try
Dodson’s Lives-Tone Next Time
Many people take calomel to
cure constipation, and it does
cure it for one day , but two or
three days later they are sicker
than ever. This is one of the
after-effects of calomel.
This is the reason why J. E.
Turner’s drug store will not
guarantee calomelto be harmless
But we d.o guarantee Dodson s
Liver-Tone to be a perfect sub-
stitute for calomel. Dodson s
Liver-Tone will cure constipation
and bilious attacks and keep
them cured, by stimulating and
toning-up the liver to do its best
work: It is a vegetable liquid
with a pleasant taste and is harm-
less to children as well as grown
people. It livens up the liver
by natural methods, does not act
80 strongly- as to weaken the
body, but is safe and sure just
the same. You can buy a bot-
tle today from J. E. Turner with
the assurance of ycur money
back if it fails in your case.

Man Coughs and Breaks Ribs.
After a frightful couging spell
a man in Neenah, Wis., felt ter-
rible pains in his side and his
doctor found two ribs had been
broken. What agony Dr.
King’s New Discovery would
have saved him. A few tea-
spoonsful ends a late cough,
while persistent use routs obsti-
nate coughs, expels stubborn
colds a heals weak, sore lungs.
“I feel sure its a God-send to
humanity,” writes Mrs. Effie
Morton, Columbia, Mo. ‘for I
believe I would have consump-

this great remedy. ’ ’ Its guar-
anteed to satisfy, and you can

was the cause, of which he was a
constant sufferer.—Valley Mills

Don’t Wait
Until the Fall.
We are of the opinion that if
you are expecting to attend our
school you cannot give a reason-
able excuse for postponing enter-
ing until Fall. We can present
sufficient proof to convince you
that the earlier you start in to ob-
tain a practical education, the bet-
ter it will be for you. We have
new almost as large an attend-
ance in the Summer as in the
Winter. We offer every induce-'
ment in Summer that we offer in
the Winter. Our past records
show that students attending
school in June, July and August
make as good progress as those
attending any other three months
in the year. This is due to the
fact that our school rooms are
cool and pleasant, and that our
teachers put forth the same energy
in the Summer months as in the
Winter. He who enters now will
finish in time for a good position
during the busy Fall season.
If you have what you think
would be a reasonable excuse for
not attending school before Fall,
let us have it, and we will give
you our side of the question. If
we can show you that you can
start into 191 3 with more money,
and a practical' education besides,
than you could to continue as you
are until Fall and then attend
school, will we not have done you
a favor? I t has been our life work
solving just such problems as
yours, and qualifying young men
and women to earn three dollars
where they could not have earned
one.
Write us by return mail; tell us
confidentially what is hindering
you from entering before Fall.

Ends Hunt For Rich Girl.
Often the hunt for a rich wife
ends when the man meets a
woman that uses Electric Bitters.
Her strong nerves tell in a bright
brain and even temper. Her
peach-bloom complexion and
ruby lips result from her pure
blood; her bright eves from rest-
ful sleep her elastic step from
firm, free muscles, all telling of
the health and strength Electric
Bitters give a woman, and the
freedom from indigestion, bock-
ache, headache, fainting and
dizzy spells they promote.
Everywhere they are woman’s
favorate remedy. If weak or
ailing try them 50c at City Drug
