REVISION
BEGINS
House Conferees Insist
Seante’s Reduction
Must Be Cut.
WASHINGTON. Feb. 35.—OP)—
The problem of revising the tax re-
duction bill so as to meet the approv-
al <>f the House Senate and Treas-
ury. today confronted couferees ap-
point'd by the two chambers to
straighten out points of difference.
As passed by the Senate the bill
provides for reduction by $456261-
000. or more than $125000000 in ex-
cess of that voted by the House and
about $100000000 more than Secre-
tary Mellon believes the condition of
the treasury will permit this year.
A considerable portion of the in-
crease appears to be doomed by the
attitude of House leaders who would
adhere to their own figures. Chair-
man Green of the Ways and Means
committee heading the House cou-
ferces. has declared that any increase
over the $330000000 reduction pro-
posed by the House not only threat-
ened a treasury deficit but jeopard-
ized enactment of several pending
bills.
Mr. Green also declared that while
government actuaries estimated the
Senate bill would reduce taxes by
$456201000 this calendar year its
actual reduction would amount to
$600000000 annually when the bill
goes fully into effect in Inter years.
The House conferees also have more
or less support from the three Re-
publican representatives of the Sen-
ate.
The taxes which seem most likely
tv be restored to the bill possibly nt
lower rates are those on automobile
passenger cars admissions and dues.
DIAMOND FIND DRAWS
HUNDREDS 10 FARMS
OSYKA. Miss. Feb. 15.—C4 5 ) —
“Howdy. Millionaire.'’ Pike county
farmers said as they slapped one an-
other on the back today although re-
fusing to get excited oyer the report-
ed discovery of “diamonds'’ on their
farms by L. W. Deland geologist of
Chicago.
All day automobiles poured into the
town from neighboring parts of Mis-
sissippi and Louisiana bringing hun-
dreds of visitors to see the "find’’
which the McComb Daily Enterprise
declares will make Henry Ford's mil-
lions look like chicken feed.
Deland who has leased more than
2700 acres of land declares that all
indications point to a genuine dia-
nuftd field. It is supposed to run
from the Louisiana line in a general-
ly northwestern direction for a dis-
tance of about eleven miles in Pike
county.

But constipation is senous Urace
“Not so long ago I was like you—headaches a good deal of the time sleeping badly
and the least bit of housework tired me out. My complexion too was bad.
“Finally I went to see Dr. Farman. He showed me that it was constipation that /
was back of my troubles. He said that it was a very serious thing because poisons J
from clogged waste matter were picked up by the blood and carried to every body /
organ. And if I didn’t correct it in time I might become a victim of one of those 1
terrible organic diseases. \
“He made me drop laxatives altogether changed my diet and put me on Nujol. \
I don’t think I’ve ever felt better. I sleep well my headaches have disappeared
and you can see for yourself what an improvement there is in my skin. Nujol has
done wonders for me.”
