FORMED AT CONFAB
FORT WORTH March 11.—(*>—
Including in it* personnel some of the
most sctirs promoters of the late
Farm-Labor political conference of
Texas the Labor Party of Texas was
organised here Wednesday at a con-
vention held in Railway Clerks' hall.
Decision was made to call a delegated
state convention at a later date for
the purpose of nominating candidates
for state offices and for United States
senator and congressmen.
A state executive committee was
elected to push the work of organisa-
tion and to seek out likely candidate*
for office and to suggest their names
to the next state convention later in
the year subject to ratificaion rejec-
tion or revision by the convention.
This committee consists of the follow-

owners are about to ask a reduction
of electric rates in Texas.
The state convention of the Mo-
tion Picture Theater Owners Conven-
tion of Texas Ine. to be held here
May 11-12 is to consider this prob-

cipals in the civil war there amend
their practices.

been notified by the foreign diplomatic
corps in China that their govern-

tion is necessary to protect foreign
shipping between Peking and the sea.
The safety of thia water route was
guaranteed by the Boxer protocol but
is endangered now by mines and by
an artillery duel.

asked of the Interstate Commerce
