Houston, married Frank Mc-
Kinley, also of Houston. They
were married Feb. 16 at 3
o’clock at Immanuel Lutheran
Church at Giddings. -
The reception followed the
ceremony at the Ledbetter
Community Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Frit-
sche and family of Dime Box
had supper Thurs. night with
their sister, Mr. and Mrs. Mil-
ton Friedrich and family and
also with Mrs. Clara Friedrich
at Lincoln, Texas
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Fischer
and Barbara Ann of Giddings
spent —Sunday afternoon with
their sister, Mr. and Mrs. Mil-
ton Friedrich and family at
Lincoln.
Those surprising Mrs Martin
Bittner of Loebau on her birth-
day Saturday night, Feb. 9
were: Mrs. Minnie Bittner and
Milton of Giddings, Mr. and
Mrs Gilbert Fritsche and fami-
ly of Dime Box and Mr and
Mrs. John Greutzner and Mr

Martin Bittner and son Leslie
and the honoree, Mrs. Martin
Bittner, all of Loebau.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Knob-
loch, and Rudy of Lincoln spent
the weekend in Houston with
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Knob-
loch and family. They also at-
tended the baptism -of their
little grandson.
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Fried-
rich and son of Houston spent
the weekend with their parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Friedrich
and Dwight and Mr. and Mrs.
Wllie Walthers and Billy at
Lincoln.

Martin Spitzenberger, 1959
graduate of Giddings High
School, passed an audition for
the Naval Band in Chicago
