“Mother is a
bunny club anything
like a rabbit hutch?”
Not exactly, Daughter. In
a bunny club, girls wear
clothes that may make
them catch cold. If that
happens to you, come
right in to our cold-reme-
dies display. We have
your favorite brands of
anti-histamines, and cough
syrups, plus vitamins to
build your resistance. If
your cold is really bad,
see your doctor and then bring us his prescription for
our registered pharmacist to fill.

This is about it for this time.
We had a very quiet Christmas
and it seemed that our people were
conducting themselves ina manner
which made this a wonderful
Christmas.
I have been asked by many what
I thought about the safety car that
will be built and probably on sale
in 1968. About the only thing
I can see is about two to four
hundred dollars more for the car.
I feel that when this car is com-
pleted and will be so constructed
that you can have an accident and
not get hurt we will have more
dare-devils on the road than ever
before. I feel that the most im-
portant safety device is to cut
the speed until more roads can
be built.
Now it seems that we are having
a lot of trouble with our paper
racks which are placed on the side-
walks. Some of the racks are
taken and only the coin boxes are
taken from others. This is theft
and some one is going to be sorry
for these acts. I would appre-
ciate very much if the parents
would discuss matters of this na-
ture with their children and per-
haps they can help this depart-
ment and the police department
to curb these violations.
It has been brought to our at-
tention that some hunters are hav-
ing a field day killing such ani-
mals as coons, opossums and
skunks and stacking them up around
the Greens Creek community which
creates an odor and also this is
a violation. It is against the law
to place these dead animals on the
roads or near any private home.
Please think of your friend and
neighbor before you do this.
We have a cow and calf located
in the Tanglewood community. Any
one around there missing a cow
and calf, you may contact this
office and we will tell you who
to contact.
With this we leave you. Please
practice all safety precautions at
all times. The life we save may
be our own.
When in town drop in and see
us. This is your office. We
need your help.
Wishing everyone a fruitful New
Bage’s
