North Texas Teachers college at
Denton where she and Miss Harsh-
barger were roommates, attended
master of ceremonies, and the club’s
two pledges. Dot Luck and Alma
Newkirk, were in charge of the
program.
Mrs D. W Crain, Ko-Jo-Kai
sponsor, and Mr. Crain were special
guests.
Others present were Marjorie
Rawlinson, Lola Sue Clark, Patsy
Powell, Jewell Christine White. Ann

Boil gently and without stirring
. until a "click" ball forms when a
portion is tested in cold water Add
1-4 teaspoon soda and mix thor-
oughly. Four at once over corn-
cereal mixture and stir until well
coated. When cool enough to han-
dle press into balls. Pile up “as is"
or wrap each ball in waxed paper
and fringe the ends.
When APPLES are plentiful,
scoop out centers and stuff with
fruit or cabbage salad and serve
• with main dinner course. These
are substantial for party serv-

DOUGHNUTS with chopped nuts
or prunes added can be piled into
a hollowed-out pumpkin used for
table decoration. Afterward, peel
and steam the pumpkin and make
it into a dish for a future meal.
