GEORGE WEST, Nov. 10. —
Selection of a jury to heat the
case of Harry J. Leahy, charted
with murder of Dr. J. A. Ramsey
of Mathis, last May, may start
here tomorrow.
Hearing on the defendant’s mo-
tion for change of venue was due
to end some time today.
Only one witness was heard in
the trial of the venue motion.
He was Rufue Oliver, road con-
tractor. and jury commissioner.
He first testified he believed
from what he had heard that
Leahy is guilty, but later said he
believed the defendant could get
a fair trial in Live Oak County.
