Executive Committee Meets
This Afternoon
Executive committee of the
Community Chest will pass on the
budgets of its 170 agency mem-
bers at a meeting at 4 p. m. Wed-
nesday at chest headquarters, 910
Commerce.
The budget committee of the
chest at a meeting Monday after-
noon made a thoro survey of the
agency budgets and will present
Its report to the executive commit-
tee, according to Joe Stephens,
chairman. :
"A study of five budget of the
agencies reveals that the agencies
have been efficient during 1929,"
Stephens said.
"Fort Worth can be sure that
thru the method of monthly requi-
sitions and-serniee- reports that
must be made by the agencies, a
true account of the chest work will
be made'possible.”
Slight readjustments of the bud-
gets were made to conform with
the 1930 maintenance allowance
of the chest.

Colds, Coughs, Chest Colds
By choosing a method that not

of Fort Wortr people—has found
the qutekpat/and surest way to
get rid of a disagreeable told.
Mr.-Adams had neglected his
cold, -hoping each day it would
"cure itself." Instead it got
worse, spreading down into his
chest. Then he sought advice
from the clinic, where doctors
gave him double doses of Ayer’s
Cherry Pectoral. Ih a few hours
he felt greatly relieved, and that
