SNORT
Residents’ Great Expectations in 1983

living room, ‘captivated’
either by choice or force,
pacing yourself for 30
hours of holiday football
games. The magic has gone
out of the words ‘instant
replay.’
Your head is dulled by
the announcer's voice,

budget and try to remain
solvent for the rest of the

physique.’ You march to
the bathroom or kitchen
(depends on where you
hide your scales) and vow
to reduce.
If you've ever found
yourself in one of these
positions and made a New
Year's resolution, - get in
line because chances are
everyone in America today
has done the same thing. |
