By reason of its size population and
commercial importance as well as its
qualifications under the federal postal
aws Texarkana is undoubtedly en-
titled to a system of free mail delivery
and the necessity for same increases
daily. Os course it is in one sense
merely a matter of convenience to the
city’s inhabitants even that however
is no unimportant item. Then too
the city’s position in the eyes of the
general public depends very largely
upon its conveniences. Aside from
this “free delivery” is an indication of
the size progress and importance of a
city and adds much to its pretentions
in the eyes of the public at large.
Therefore if Texarkaua is justly en-
titled to the system an effort should
be made to obtain it and that without
unnecessary delay.
It is not now so much a question
of securing ready money with which
to move the crops as it is to secure
the crops for the money to move. The
farmers all over the country seem
determined by fair means or foul to
force an adequate market value for
their products before offering same
for sale and while the law abiding
people of the country may deplore the
means which they have adopted for
securing same yet the great masses of
the people are the farmer’s friend
and are in hearty sympathy with him
in the accomplishment of the desired
end. Indeed many good and law
loving citizens go so far as to say “the
end Justifies the means.” While we
cannot go thus far yet our sympathy
and good will is always with ths far-
mer when not opposed to law and
good government.

When my little girl was one month old she
had a scab form on her face. It kept spread-
ing until she was completely covered from
head to foot. Then she had boils. She had
forty on her hear! at one time and more on
her body. When six months old she did not
weigh seven pounds a pound and a half less
than at birth. Then her skin started to dry
up and got so bad she could notshut her eyes
to sleep but laid with them half open. About
this tiiije at the earm st request of friends I
started using the Cvticura Remedies and
in one month she ims completely cured.
The doctor and drug bills were over one hun-
dred dollars the Cuti.ura bill was pot more
thanyfw dollars. My child is now two years

her age (see photo.) and it is all owing to
