COLEMAN March 10 -A tem
porary injunction was granted in
119th District Court here Wednes-
day which prevents the Board of.
Overall Memorial Hospital from
making five doctors and one den- |
list vacate ofice space in the build-
ing by March 15.
Judge 0. L. Parrish who granted
the temporary injunction said that
it would be early May before he
could possibly set the case for
hearing on its merits.
The professional men, who filed
the motion for a temporary writ of
injunction Feb 1 after being told
their contracts for free office space;
had been cancelled and that they
would have to vacate, were repre-
sented by W. Marcus Weatherred
of Coleman, past president of the
hospital board.
The hospital trustees were repre-
sented by Davis Scarborough and
J. R Black, Jr., of Abilene
The board of trustees, according
to plaintiffs' petition, ordered the
doctors to vacate the building
because the board had been ad-
ised that present set up had cre-
ated a tax liability for the hospital
"with which the hospital cannot
cope.”’
