“Laughter and good >'-.mr make a

All people of Wichita Fall» are part
ners and not opponents when it comes
to building up Wichita Falls. No maa
or concern can expect to buUd up his
own business by attempting to tear
down that of his competitor. That to
the way The Times has always con-
ducted its affairs, and ft has never yet
resorted to misrepresentations of its
“own affairs or that of any one of sey-
eral competitors in order to secure
patronage. If it cannot secore business
suicient to keep ft going on its own
merits, it, does not desire to secure
ouch desirable results by resorting to
unfair methods. The Times has suc-
ceeded by adopting at the outset, hon-
est, straightforward business methods,
. and it hae no idea whatever of pursu-
ing any other course.
