In a candlelight ceremony Betty
Burdeshaw, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. J. B. Eudy, of Odessa, be-
came the bride of Paul Arrant
son of Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Arrant
of Ballinger, Aug. 15 1a the Bel-
mont Baptist Church at Odessa.
The Rev. J. Conally Evans,
church pastor, read the double ring
ceremony before the altar decorat-
ed with baskets of white gladioli
before a background of palms.
Mrs. Harold Gage, organist, played
nuptial music and accompanied
Denny Stephens, who sang “Sere-
nade" and “The Lord’s Prayer.”
Matron of honor was Mrs. Fred-
die Clark of San Angelo, and Mar-
tenc Eudy, sister of the bride, was
maid of honor. Flower girls were
Meralea and Debby Kay Burde-
ahaw, daughters of the bride.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. Her gown was sky
blue silk organza fashioned with
a molded bodice. The full skirt was
ballerina length. She carried a gold
Bible topped with two white or-
chids showered with ribbons.
Charles Walker of Ballinger,
brother-in-law of the bridegroom,
was best man. Gromsmen were
Frodie Clark of San Angelo, and
Bill Buster.
The bride's parents hosted a re-
ception in the church parlors fol-
towing the ceremony.
Mrs. Arrant is a graduate of the
Odessa High School and attended
Gulf Coast Business College. She
is employed in the office of Ginan
Professional Pharmacy at Odessa.
Arrant to a graduate of Ballinger
High School. He attended Landtag
College of Mortuary Science at
Houston. He served three years in
the Navy during World War II.

Mrs. Edward Lewilen and chil-

vacation to California.
They visited Mrs. Lewallen’s
cousin, Mrs. Bill Dugally and fam-
ily in Los Angeles; Mr. Lewallen’s
sister and family. Mr. and Mra,
Bill Carroll of Ventura, and Mr.
Lewallen’s uncle and wife, Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Crisp of Port Huen-

Mrs. German Morton, became the
bride of Boyce Ardale Bryan of
Ralls, at • p.m. Saturday in the
First Baptist Church.
Bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. E. G. Bryan of Ralls.
The Bev. Ralph E. Perkins read

of white satin aad chantilly lace.

Junior College, and received a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Tex- I

bock.

Ralls High School, attended Ran-
ger Junior College and Texas Tech-
nological College.
Out of town guests were from
Ralls, Crosbyton, Waco, Brecken-
ridge. Lubbock, Snyder, Rising
Star, Fort Wseth. Moran, Odessa,
McCamey, Nocona, Eastland, Old
en and Sundown.
Members of the wedding party
were entertained at a rehearsal '
dinner in the dining room of the
First Baptist Church Friday.

Mrs. Lloyd Clem and Mrs. L. D.
Tankersley.
The dining table was covered,
with a white linen cloth and cen-1
tered with an arrangement of zin-
nias to rainbow colors.
