Mrs. Myrtle Duncan visited rel-
atives in Las Vegas, New Mexico
a few weeks. She returned Sat-
urday.
Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Oldham
spent Saturday in Waco.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stevenson of
Deleon spent the week-end with
her mother, Mrs. Oldham.
Arthur Dunlap is in Odessa.
Mrs. Burns spent Tuesday
afternoon in Clifton.
Mrs. Sally French is visiting in
Ft. Worth.
W. T. Dunlap is out in the
Panhandle.
Ada Airheart vacated the room
at Mrs. Rosa Cunningham’s and
moved to Glen Rose.
Danny, the little son of Mr. and
Mrs. J. D. McElroy of Ft. Worth
spent the week with his grand-
parents.
Henry Newsom got an arm cut
and broke one day at the gin, he
was taken to the Clifton hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Blue and
their daughter, Mae of Walnut
and their son Elzie (Pug) of Ste-
phenville were here Thursday.
children of Ft. Worth spent Tues-
day night with his parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Sawyer of
Waco spent the week-end here
with his parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hughes
have moved to Ft. Worth, his par-
ents took them the past Saturday.
Mrs. Busby, Mrs. Procter’s
mother spent the week-end in
Waco.
Mrs. H. B. McClurg and daugh-
ter from near Corpus Christi
have returned to their home, af-
ter visiting her brother, Mr. Ince
and wife.
Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Martin have
vacated the Lasswell farm and
moved to the farm they bought
from Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Linch
who moved to Hico.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Sawyer
and baby of Ft. Worth spent the
week-end here. She remained
for a longer visit with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey.
Mr. and Mrs. Euell Sanders
spent a few days in San Angelo.
Mr. and Mrs. Welsh and son
and his mother of McGregor spent
the week-end in the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Fallis.
Mrs. Mantooth and children of
Abilene are visiting her mother,
Mrs. Hooper.

on for appendecitis at the Holt

they accompanied Essie to Clifton
Sunday where they visited Hen-
ry, he is doing as well as could
be expected.

to answer Plaintiffs Petition filed
in said Court, on the 8th day of
November, A. D. 1948, in this
cause, numbered 9381 on the
docket of said court and styled

tiff. vs. Miriam Doris Holverson,
Defendant.
A brief statement of the nat-
ure of this suit is as follows, to
wit: Suit for Divorce on the
grounds of cruel treatment, as is
shown in Plaintiff’s petition now
on file in this office, as is more
fully shown by Plaintiff’s Petition
on file in this suit.
The officer executing this pro-
cess shall promptly execute the
same according to law, and make
due return as the law directs.
