The dance Saturday night was
a big success, huge crowd and
everybody had a wonderful time.
Looks like Bosque County’s birth-
day is going to be a big success.
Let’s everybody put all we have
into it and we will all have a
big time.
Weather over the week-end
was on the cool side; some one
told me the coolest weather ever
recorded in May.
On May 13 and1 14, a five-star
picture for sure at the Capitol
Executive Suite-SEE—THIS one
of the outstanding pictures in
some time.
Fire boys did one swell job in
decorating town. Wind has been
rough on banners, but still is a
good job.
Few more in the politicians
race for offices. Look over the
field, pick the candidate of your
choice) and be sure and vote elec-
tion day.
It’s time to start pushing the
Baseball Camp for this summer.
It should be the best Camp of
all this year.
We will open our dressing
plant most any day now. Bobby
will get out the cards. Be sure
and show up, should be several
days of it.
Here’s wishing old Bosque lots
of the best on her birthday and
heaps of the besta during the
next 100 years.
Be sure and come to Meridian
and help celebrate.

Here’s one of those many cooking
features you get only with gas — a
big griddle in space usually used
for a work surface. And with this
griddle top goes big oven and ele-

new model featured in Spring

The excise tax cut voted 4, Congress on
your long distance telephone calls is good
news.
It means that Long Distance calls now cost
less than before April 1 — 12% less, in most
cases.
You get the full benefit of the tax cut. Not a
penny goes to the telephone company.
That makes long distance an even bigger
bargain.4.
