resident of Abilene since 1890, will
be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at
Laughter-North Memorial Chapel
with the Rev. D D Denison, pas-
tor of First Methodist Church, of-
ficiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cem-
etery. Pallbearers will be grand-
sons. €
Mrs. Wilson, member of a pio-
neer Abilene family, died at 6:35
p.m. Thursday at her home, 883
Grand Ave. She would have been
84 on Dec. 20.
Mr. Wilson, who died in January
1939, was the founder of the W. T.
Wilson Transfer & Storage Co.
Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 20,
1871, near Terrell. She was the
former Ella Mae Scott, daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs R. X.
Scott. She married Mr. Wilson at
Terrell on May 24, 1888.
Survivors include three sons,
Fowler Wilson of Breckenridge,
Wallace T. Wilson of South Gate,
Calif., and Raymond Wilson of 882
Santos St.; two daughters, Mrs. R.
E Owens of Tanana, Calif., and
Mrs Dona Mae Hurley of 1525
Graham St.; a sister, Mn. Ed
Reeves of 220 Mulberry St.; and
13 grandchildren and 19 great-
grandchildren.
One son, James Wilson, preced-
ed her in death in 1949.
