Mix together
-Put sugar mixture into a 1-qt. screw-top
jar. Add
1% cups (10V- to 11-oz. co.)
Cover jar tightly and shake vigorously to
blend well.
Store in the same jar in refrigerator Be-
fore serving, beat or shake vigorously.
About 1 qt. dressing
Note: Dressing may be beaten with a ro-
tary beater or with electric mixer on low
speed. (Or blend one half at a time in an
electric blender.)

BASE RECIPE
Cut into bite-size pieces and set aside in
refrigerator enough cooked turkey to

Drain, reserving liquid, contents of
Add to mushroom liquid and set aside
Mince enough parsley, chives, and

Heat in top of double boiler
Stir in the minced onion; cook over me-
dium heat, occasionally moving with a
spoon, until onion to transparent. Blend in

heat and add mushroom liquid and milk
gradually while stirring constantly. Re-
turn to heat and cook until mixture

ble boiler. Cook over simmering water 5
to 10 min., or until thoroughly heated. Stir
slowly to keep mixture cooking evenly.
Add in small amounts, stirring vigor-
ously with a French whip, whisk beater,

With final few strokea mix in the minced
parsley, chives, pimiento strips, cooked
peas, mushrooms, and turkey pieces.
Cook mixture over low heat, stirring
constantly, 3 to S min., or until thor-
Serve immediately in heated chafing dish
or serving dish. _

.Follow Base Recipe. Substitute % cup
sliced, pitted ripe olives for the cooked
peas. ,.
Note: Turkey Royal is delicious served
over waffles. Shaved, toasted almonds
may be sprinkled over each serving, if
