MUNDAY, Dec. is (RNS) -Mun-
day’s First National Bank will for-
mally open its new building the
end of this month but began opera-
tion in the new quarters Monday
Charles Mayes, an oldtime resi-
dent who maintains his office just
off the main lobby of the bank

Burglars Hit
Haskell Schools
HASKELL, Dec. to (RNS) -
Burglars broke into the high school
and junior high school buildings
here Saturday night and took an
undetermined amount of money
from three soft drink vending ma-
chines.
The culprits damaged th
chines in forcing them open and
also broke open several doors in
the two buildings. Sheriff Bill
Pennington said.
Sheriff Pennington and members
of his department theorized that
the culprits were not familiar with
the buddings as the thieves went
