To Dyess Scouts
The Abilene Council of the Wood-
men of the World Wednesday pre-
sented an American flag to the
Girl Scout and Brownie Scout
troops of Dyess Air Force Base
The presentation took place at
a Court of Awards ceremony at
the Dyess Youth Center in the
Officers Mess Annex, C. L Harris,
council commander, handing the
flag over to Ellen Stanley and
Linda Lee Lowe.
Lt. Col. Reo C. Trail, chairman
of the Dyess Dependent Youth
Council, presented each of the
Scout units with troop flags, gifts
from the Youth Council. Accepting
were Colleen Waddell and Sylvia
Stevens.
