Congratulations to the Weslaco Valley All-Stars for being recognized as “Top 10 in the
Nation” at the UCA All-Star National Competition at Walt Disney World in Orlando,
Florida, March 9-11, 2007. The sisters and cousins pictured above are part of the
various Valley All-Stars cheerleading squads who recently competed against the best
cheerleading teams in the nation.
“Hats-off” to the girls for their hard work, dedication, & discipline in preparing for
nationals!
Final Results showed: in Tiny Level 1 Division: 3rd place, Yazzie Gonzales, Kiki, Pena
and Ysela Gonzales; in Large Youth Level 2 Division: 7th place, Kristen Gutierrez and
Lexy Pena; and in Small Junior Level 3 Division: 10th place, Jackie Gutierrez and
Jenna Pena.
