very creditable. The band is uni-
formed in long drab frock over-
coats and white silk tiles. The mu-
sic made was average fair. The

The Methodist preachers are
warned to look out for bad charac-
ters while coming and going to their
stopping places. Our city has a
hard set here at the present time.
We judge by reports of house-break-
ing and we warn them to keep their
money in bank while here or in
some private sate.
Col. James Dudley Chairman of
the Executive Committee of the
Democratic party of Texas passed
through here this morning on his
return from Atlanta Ga. He says
that everybody he met while absent

ot the various ailments of children
said: “When my children have
croup there is only one patent med-
icine that 1 ever use and that is
Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy. It
possesses some medical properties
that relieve the little sufferers at
once. It is in my opinion the best
cough medicine in the market." If
this remedy is freely given as soon
as the croupy cough appears it will
prevent the attack. It is also an
ideal remedy for whooping cough.
There Is no danger in giving It to
children as it contains nothing in-
