around her Thursday afternoon a
sewing circle; the ladles came with
delicate embroidery and lace work
while gay bon-mots were passing
from one point of the room to an-
other the needles danced in and
out perfecting some fancy piece to
do honor some day for an occasion
just like this. Mrs. Robertson's
ability as hostess is proverbially
known and on this occasion tho'
a “small and early” her power was
