E. C. DONNELLY DEAD.
Mr. (1. A. Ifaya received a mes-
sage this morning from Monterey
Mexico announcing the death of
F.d C. Donnelly of this city who
went to Mexico in search of health.
Mr. Donnelly Is one of our oldest
citizens and was regarded as an
honorable and worthy gentleman.
He worked in the first ten or fif-
teen years of his residence here in
the service of the Iron Mountain
Ry. putting his wages out in lots
and building houses on them thus
becoming Independent of work. He
has been in bad health tor the past
eighteen months and has traveled
considerably with a view to finding
a climate suited to his disease.
Mr. Donnelly was here just a
short while back and while he. look-
ed vigorous he was anything but a
well man. Before he left he made
his will giving half of his estate to
Mrs. Josephine Wo .dward of
Auburn New York and after his
debts are paid the balance to be
equally devided between Mrs. Mary
A. Stalford of Auburn New York
and Mrs. Lizzie Keenan of Elkins
West Virginia. The three ladles
are sisters of the deceased.
The estate Is valued at 11(10(10
and his ludebtednesH will amount to
♦ 10(10.
Ills rcinaliis have been ordered
shipped here and his sister wired to
know what disposition Istotie made
of the body.

We see some of the papers say
(hat Corbett hnx ih lerloiated from
his once good condition and that
he will not put up the light against
Fitzsimmons that he did Peter
Jacksmi. When Corbett fought
J.ickson In IHIH he was n mere boy
mid only weighed 172 pound* while
