ROBERTS ITEMS
Well (jne more week has passed
since my last writing and I come
again with a few more items which
probably will be of Interest to
some.
Nothing of importance has inter-
vened the past week. I can say
we are still living and enjoying
reasonably good health tor which
if we would realize the necessity of
this it would be found to be a grand
and good blessing. We do not
realize as we should the blessing
we are enjoying every dav —do not
know how thankful and contented
we should be. If we were to take
these things into considesation.
perhaps some of us at least would
live a more contented life than we
do. Oh how obedient we should be
to the will of our Father. We
sh >uld strive to do his will every
d ay—should try to prepare our-
selves one and all for the here-
after for we know not at what
moment we are to be snatched
away from this world to face
another and either happiness or
sorrow will be ours.
The weather is warm and cloudy.
Miss Addie Williams went to the
city last Thursday—returned Sat-
urday bringing Miss Pearl Bedin-
field with her. Miss Pearl will return
to her home tomorrow.
I learn that Mr. J. E. Attaway
went to Texarkana Thursday to lay
in a stock of goods. He wiH soon
be in business in our little city as he
is putting him up a store house here
I wish him prosperity. We are
glad to see Roberts coming to the
front.
I see Bro. Once-aweek did not
appear on deck the ship last week
hope nothing seriously has befallen
him. Say come dont forget to
appear on deck again.
With these remarks. I'll close
with best wishes to all. I am yours
Bess.
