second service al 10:30 instead of

this in mind. Fred Offenhausen
has prepared a beautiful pro-
gramme of music for both Sundays.
A class of fifty will be confirmed
on Sunday April 9. The services
on Good Friday will commence at
10 a. tn. As this is one of the most
important days in the church year
is hoped that every parishioner wil
attend.
Eighteen persons have been bap-
tized during the past month and
there are several others awaiting
baptism.
An occasional dose of Prickly ash

nounced on tbe West Side by his
friends for city attorney declines
to make the race. He says: “I do

endar space in their beads. Tbe
city editor was invited to a “stag”
banqnet. It was ao urgent
call over the phone said there is

oyster until we can get a “plug” to
fill the other chair. We were eu
gaged at the time in writing an
open letter to the president and
had reached the point where we
advised him to fire Alger as soon as

and rushed to the place designated.
We gave all kinds of knocks and
kicks on the door but received no
response and when we got down
stairs again we detected Will Mc-
Cartney and Sam Solinskv dodging
down a back alley.

By virtue of an ordinance duly enacted
by the city of Texarkana Ark. I have
impounded the following described ani-
mals found running at large within the
limits of said city to-wit:
One black pig barrow 2 splits in right
split in left.
One black pig sow no mark.
One black sow hole in both ears.
One white and black spotted pig burrow
no marK.
One sandy pig sow crop in both ears
One sandy sow underbit and overbit in
both ears.
One sandy and black spotted barrow
swallow fork both ears.
One black sow split and underhalf crop
in right swallowfork in left.
One black and white spotted pig bar-
row no mark.
One bay mare star in face 14 hands
high 12 years old.
One gray colt blaze face left hind leg
stocking foot.
Said animals will be sold at the city
pound for penalty costof keeping and ad-
vertising tbe same at 10 o’clock a. m on
the loth day of April 1899.
