Professor Winston who is here

We learn that Mr. Edson will
have one passenger train on the
Port Arthur route and will try and
see that it makes its time at all
stiltions. This road has been run
for several months on any old time
the train men wished to bring it
in on. We hope to get better ser-
vice with one train each way a
day.

This morning a drunken man
jumped fro.n the train near the
Iron Mountain coal chute and had
the appearance of being killed. A
couple of farmers who was crossing
the track saw him make the leap
and reported him dead when they
reached the city. A gentlemen
jumped into a buggy and drove to
the place and soon returned and re
ported that the man had been re
moved to a place to be taken care
of and that he was reported by the
yard men as not being very badly
hurt.
