Mr. Charlie McShane received a
letter from Donegal Ireland Fri-
day from his mother who enclosed
in the same a bunch of shamrock
which made Charlie proud. It has
been five years since Mr. McShane
came here from his mother country
and although he loves his adopted
country with all the devotion of a
patriot he has yet a good feeling for
old Ireland and its traditions.
The politicians were thick here
yesterday and many voters were
changed we expect. Men are very
easily influenced and it does not take
much to make them change their
votes unless they are enthusiastic.
Tuesday will tell the tale as to who
will occupy the places m county and
representative offices.
