The Stockholders of the
Mills County State Bank
held their annual meeting
March 21, 1983. Progress
made by the Bank in 1982,
the annual audit conducted
by Stovall, Grandey and
Whatley, Certified Public
Accountants, the budget for
1983 and the outlook for
1983 were all discussed.
The Bank showed a nice
increase in deposits in 1982
with the deposits reaching
fifty million.
Directors were elected to
serve for the ensuing year.
They are: Bill Blackwell,
Glynn Collier, Tom Duren,
Dr. T. C. Graves, Dr. Tom
Cody Graves, C. T. Head,
C. H. Maguire, Jr., Elam
Miles, W. L. Nix, Milton
Schwartz, Lucius M. Steph-
ens and Dr. Jim Terrell.
The present officers of
the Bank were re-elected to
serve for 1983. They are:

fully and has been a strong
supporter of the bank. Mr.
Stephens will continue to
serve the bank as Director
Emeritus.
