Mills County Commis-
sioners heard a lengthy
report from Chief Tax Ap-
praiser Doran Lemke on the
settlement of tax payment
from the, Mills County State
Bank, at their regular semi-
monthly meeting Monday.
According to Lemke the
bank paid $15,399.38 on the
county’s portion, the Gener-
al Fund, and $1,911.62 for
$1000 per year for the first
four years and $2846 for
each year thereafter. Prev-
iously the county was to
pay $400 while Gilbert paid
$200 per month, giving a
one-third equity to Gilbert.
Now the contract is believ-
ed to give Gilbert a 50-50
ownership in the vehicle.
The contract will be dis-
cussed with Johnson,
Gilbert and County At-
torney Clyde Cockrum. The
matter will be brought to
the table at the next
regular meeting. It will be
placed on the agenda.

Nadiene Tiemann who was
a little too far under the

the meeting.
The contract for the com-

wanted insurance he would
be paying at a total of
$7000 to be considered as
