The Eagle stubbed his toe last
week. Yes, we made an error. In
the Commissioners story printed on
the front page of the Eagle dated
July 26, 1984 it was stated that a
cost over-run on the cost of
operating the Mills County Senior
Citizens Center was reported and
it should have said the Mills
County Civic Center. It was quickly
brought to the attention of the
editor, as the senior citizens that
frequent the Senior Citizens Center
were upset. There are many of the
Goldthwaite residents that gain so
much from their going to the
center to enjoy visiting and
fellowship. It truly is a good thing
for the senior citizens of Mills
County.
