And The Moral To This Ad Is:
If Christmas shopping is your aim,
Before you head off to "Cross the Plains,"
Then come by where the best values are kept.
It’s so nice to shop at home
Where the buffalo don't roam.
(You don't have to watch so closely where
you've stepped!)

Funeral Conducted Here October 31st
For Fritz William Hopper Of Priddy
hope to repay.
For that great, great love you so
freely gave and now is shown and
shared by my neighbors.
For all the churches with their Awareness Month ,
caring, loving members, who County, Texas,
prayed along with thousands of /s/
Gideons in my behalf during this
illness.
For Drs. Childress, Andrews and
staff who worked so hard and long
to ease my pain.
For my co-workers in the Postal
Service who place customer,
courtesy, and service above their
own desires.
For allowing me to be a small
part in a great community that
changed a brushy, muddy tank to
a beautiful park and a pasture into
a (second to none) County Civic
Center.
For allowing 26 happy wonderful
Christmases of hugs, heartbeats
and smiles as “SANTA”.1
For serving as “The man with
the Bibles” to the Sth grade each
year. (This is not permitted this
year to come to your school room,
but I have a special Testament for
each of you if you will stop by my
house).
Now Dear God, I want to say a
special prayer for my precious
loving wife who has suffered so
very much. For Norma Fay and
Jerry whose constant loving care is
so great. To Ray, Margaret and
sisters, Helen and May, your love
is so great. Thanks to all for each
prayer, visit and note and
especially thanks to the “Eagles”
last Friday night. Although, flat on
my back, I never missed a play on
the radio. A special thanks to all of
you who make it possible for those
of us who can’t attend the games
to have this great enjoyment.
My special thanks to Steven
Bridges for a job well done.
I love each and every one of you
and pray that when this life on
earth is finished God can say
“Goldthwaite is a. little bit better
town because Norman Duren
served there.”
