Sixth Grade
Band Survey
If you are the parent of a child
who will be in sixth grade during
the 98-99 school year, your child
will be learning to play a band
instrument during sixth grade
music class. Because this is re-
quired of these children, the
school provides a limited number
of instruments for the students
to use during this year. The mu-
sic department wants to insure
that each child has success in
band, so the best and most fitting
instrument for the student must
be assigned. For this reason, on
Tuesday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m., surveys of band
instruments will be held at the
band hall. At one of these times,
students and parents will learn
about the unique qualities of each
instrument and will even be able
to try them out. If you will be out
of town on this date, please call
Susan Reynolds at 648-6142 to
set up an appointment.
