Notes

Text: “Friday noon. My Very Own— I have so much enjoyed your regular letters these last few days of hard work, and know I will enjoy them and look forward to them all during next week. Ours is just beginning — I suppose by now you are nearly thru with yours, and know you have come out on top! We have our chemistry final tomorrow morning — by this time tomorrow it will all be over — I hope My, we have all surely been digging at that stuff, studied till two last night, one thirty the night before, etc. I suppose you thought that was a mighty abrupt “letter” I sent you the other night — but am sure you knew what it meant. The same as yours did — I love you, all of you, all the time, with all of me; and miss you ever so much. I haven’t had time to get the blues this past week — but I think of you thousands of times, and look forward anxiously to the time when I can have you and hold you — and “love you most to pieces.” Pray for me in the morning — and all next week. You’re the only - very only one for Me.”
