her candidacy for Kendall
County Commissioner for
Precinct 4.
She formerly served as
Kendall County Commissioner
representing Precinct 3 from
1993 through 1996 before the
last redistricting put her in
Precinct 4.
A former teacher, Whitworth
taught kindergarten, second and
sixth grades in the Comfort ISD.
For the past five years she has

Local animal league hosts rabies drive
' The Hill Country Animal League/SPCA will
hold a Rabies Drive Saturday, Oct. 22, from 11
a.m. to 3 p.m. at the league’s facility, 924 North
Main St.
Dogs will receive their rabies vaccine for $7; and
can receive rabies and DHLPP for $25, or rabies,
DHLPP and kennel cough vaccine for $40.
Vaccines for cats are $7 for rabies, $25 for rabies
and FVRCP, or $30 for rabies, FVRCP and feline
leukemia.
Any cat or dog can have a microchip containing
emergency information implanted for $30.
State law requires all cats and dogs to be vacci-
nated against rabies annually. City ordinance re-
quires all domestic pets to be licensed.
Dogs should be on a leash or in a carrier and cats
should be in a carrier or placed in a pillowcase if
no carrier is available.
