Krugler officiating. Burial was to
be in the Giddings City Cemetery.
Mrs. Winkler died Monday, Dec.
11 at 4:30 p m. at Lee Memorial
Hospital in Giddings
Mrs. Winkler was born in 1902 at
Lexington, the daughter of Max
Herklotz and Hedwig Gest Herk-
lotz. She married Erich Winkler in
1924.
Survivors include her husband,
Erich Winkler of Giddings: 3 sons,
Melvin Winkler of Dallas, Eugene
Winkler of La Grange and Erich
Lee Winkler of Brenham; a brother,
Edwin Herklotz of Lexington; a
sister, Mrs. Sophie Imken of
Abilene; and 7 grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her
parents, a brother and a sister.
